I need to put some fixed grilles or bars on some lateral windows of my house (for security protection). Can someone advise on providers? Thanks Rocio

Yes! We had a window grille installed on the window of our dining room in the lower ground floor, facing the street. Call John Knight - his details are in the Hall of Fame. He has a firm that does it for a good price and do a really good job.

You can try the locksmith in South End Green Newman & Son 020 7284 1002 -- they should be able to help. Also, you can contact your local police station's Crime Prevention Officer (google it and you will get your local Crime Prevention Office) -- they will send someone out to your house who will walk through and give you tips on keeping your family safe and will certainly provide you with some vendors for bars for windows if you want them.
